Donya, my heart breaks with every line that I read. please stay safe. i hope that you will know peace. dont ever give up. i hope that you, your friends, and your family are safe. stay strong, my heart goes out to you all.
Heartbreak with every line, thank you for helping us bear witness to these horrific developments. I hope that you will know peace and an end to these awful stories.
Certainly, a hard experience but such things happen in war. And the current troubles in Gaza would not be happening if Hamas had not attacked Israeli civilians as well as foreign workers and people visiting Israel. The viciousness of Hamas' attacks, and Hamas' vow to repeat them a thousand times (which was cheered by the Gazans) correctly convinced Israeli leaders that it is necessary for Israel to secure a decisive victory over Hamas, to be followed by the demilitarization of Gaza and a deradicalization of the Gazans. Please note: As scary as the incident described by Donya Abu Sitta was, no one was injured or killed
Toby Block, I was doing to suggest a good book for you to maybe lead you to think differently, but I fear that would be in vain. What the heck, I'm going to do it anyway! Miko Peled, 'The General's Son'. Read it carefully, put aside your deeply entrenched beliefs; allow yourself to see, really see, what is at stake for both Israelis and Palestinians.

I hope also, to see peace in every place in the world
No more heartbreak than for Gaza. We in the USA who CARE for Gaza and all your beautiful and Brave Gazans, will
continue to PROTEST against Israel’s
Genocidal War and our own country’s
Billions of dollars to the Zionist government that has allowed this
Genocide to continue. I pray for your safety Donya.
Linda
Thank you
